About Linwood

In January of 1955, Linwood Baptist Church of Shreveport, La was organized and founded on the principles set forth in the New Testament.  Our members are lovingly committed to living out the Gospel of Jesus Christ in concrete ways through various outreach ministries.  Over the 57 years since the founding of Linwood, our neighborhood has seen significant changes, but Linwood Baptist has always been here to serve those whom Christ sends our way.  We welcome all with the open and inviting arms of the father of the prodigal son.
